SMBX 1.3.0.1 is not a content or bugfix update, it just improves the launcher and graphics a bit. It does not alter the actual game engine in any way, just what comes along with it in the download (including the .exe, which is essentially the game's launcher).

What Wohlstand is doing is a level editor that intends to be the successor to SMBX's current editor, and hopefully will be able to add and alter the game's actual content. However, it is a much longer-term project. GhostHawk is working on a similar SMBX successor as well, VSMBX (has its own thread in the Video Games forum).

I've got a suggestion for 1.3.0.2: Add Return To Yoshi's Island and add the bosses that weren't originally in the game (like the castle 2,3,6,9, and more bosses)
